Atheists, do you really believe that 1/3rd of the earth's population can experience the same hallucination?
We Christians are often criticized by atheists for being delusional. However, I think that atheists are delusional because they believe that 1/3rd of the earth's population is experiencing the same hallucination.

Do you believe that the other 2/3 can?
2/3 of the world believes your religion is not true. If numbers count, you lose.

Merisa, you misunderstand the word "hallucination."
Your "one-third of the world's population" hasn't really seen God or Jesus. They have merely heard people tell stories - now well over 2000 years old - about some folks who claimed to have seen Jesus or some miraculous behavior. Hearing someone else talk about an event that you didn't see yourself isn't an example of "hallucination."
We atheists really believe that 1/3 of the world's population can be gullible. That is, they can be deluded into believing that the stories represented reality. The world is NOT experiencing a hallucination. They are simply buying into their minister's lies. To be fair, the ministers have bought into someone else's lies from an earlier part of their own lives. So it is a multi-generational set of lies. But the word hallucination does not apply. The correct word is DELUSION.
Just for giggles, go visit Wikipedia.ORG (not .COM !!!) to look up "delusion" and see if you can figure out why we believe you are deluded.

What about the 1/6th of the world (Atheists) who don't experience the hallucination.
Then again, a hallucination is something made by the mind.
According to Atheists, so is God.
Anyway, children get brought up thinking Santa Claus is real. Maybe 80% of the children at a certain ae believe he's real. Yet, he isn't.
It's easy how you can make people believe stuff, isn't it?
And yeah, I got indoctrinated about Evolution just as you got indoctrinated about Christianity, it's all the same to me actually.

Believing a story is not the same as a hallucination. 1/3 of the population does not imagine they are observing the alleged events--they just believe that once upon a time a few people observed them.

Merisa. darling, what about the thousands of people who are non-christians but believe in other God's? They've managed to experience "hallucinations" in mass numbers too. Are they anymore right or saved? Is this really the IQ of Christians? You're completely lacking in critical thinking skills and logic. Quite sad.
edit: completely!

No, what hallucination did 1/3rd of the population supposedly witness?
I think that maybe you should get a dictionary and look up the definitions of "hallucination" and "ingorance".

What hallucination? People started legends of God, they passed around, more people believed out of fear of these dieties, the population grew. Thats how. How do you explain that '1/'3'according to you, are atheists?

It's is not a hallucination. It is a series of beliefs which are LEARNED from others who believe the same things.

No, but I do think that 1/3 of the worlds population can be indoctrinated.
