Cellular Respiration?

Does the body use the H2O produced during the electron transport chain? Or is it just discarded in urine? I have been wondering this for a little bit now and have just got around to asking the question. Thanks for the help!

Urine is discarded, but what does urine carry ? Yes, it is osmoregulation, but also the products of cellular catabolism, protein degradation, drugs, extra materials in the bloodstream. Urine is not just discarding - it functions vitally to clean the blood. Also, the amount of water produced by electron transport is very small - not enough to become an excess, given the body's daily water requirements.

Well not all of it goes to urine. Your body needs to be hydrated right?

Some of it is also exhaled.
