The most embarrassing thing happened to me! My husband thought he shut his phone, and I made a rude comment!!?
I made a nasty comment regarding his friend when we both thought his phone was hung up (stupid POS I-phone!!!). He realized it wasn't it. His friend called him on my comment, that I made in the privacy of my own home, thinking the phone was hung up (because it said it was!!) This was his best friend. I sent and email and called him, apologizing that I was just angry at that moment about a situation, and he said it was "ok". But he still told my husband "it wasn't cool." Did I do the right thing? I know the damage is done...but I'm totally embarrassed and feel I may have injured my husband's relationship with his best bud. My husband isn't angry with me, but he's upset about the situation too. I guess I should never make a rude comment again about anyone or anything again!! lol Comments....advice??

Well honestly you cant live with regrets you said your sorry and thats that
that is in the past now you cant rewind and go back you have to move forward
and your husband isn't mad or anything so you shouldn't worry

I've had this happen too. I think the best advice is to be explicitly sure that the phone is hung up and returned to normal status before saying anything. Even something legit could be misconstrued. Keep it clean until you are sure.

Wow. :/
You apologized then that's all you can do.
But actually maybe you could do stuff like buy his friend apology gifts or do something for him to make up for it?
Idk? give him some tickets to a sports game or concert or something?
Good luck with the situation.
I hope everything works out for you..

Ouch...there's not much more to be done about the situation than you already have. Good luck.
