Is there a poll/study/known percentage that shows the religions of GLBT people?
It's seems that most GLBT people I speak with are atheist, a few are Buddhist. I'm just curious to see what are the most common religions practiced in the GLBT community.
When I tried to google this for myself I didn't find much except for a site claiming that over half of all child murderers and rapists are gay. I kind of quit after that, o_0
I have been at several GLBT gathering where someone has said something spiteful about Christians, not just homophobic/hateful Christians but about all Christians in general- they made the assumption that all Christians are homophobic. My dad is Christian, and I know he loves me regardless of the gender or sex of who I love, he told me so.

The reason most lgbt people are atheist is because religion is such a b*tch to us =/

I have little right to comment on this question as well, but I feel an obligation to.
I'm extremely sorry that many of my fellow "christians" tend to oppress and attack the gay community quite viciously. What ever you may heard, or experienced, that's not our goal. I'm constantly ashamed of my people for their ignorance and animosity towards homosexuals, and plea that you accept this apology, hate is not the message we're supposed to be spreading.
