Is the site ProofPronto reliable and safe?
I am wondering if this is not some scam or fake. The things here seem very interesting but I want to make sure they are not trying to take money and not give you anything.

That IS a very cool site!
I clicked "about us" at the top, and it shows that they are a division of Atlas Electronics Inc based in Florida. I did a background check on the state of FL's website, and the company has been in business since 1952, just as claimed on their "about us" page seen here: http://site.proofpronto.com/about.htm
I also called the 1-800 number (800-804-4132), hit 1 to place an order, and a friendly agent named Lisa picked up pretty quickly. Her English was very good and she sounded American.
I couldn't find any complaints on the complaint boards either. Seems 100% safe and legit to me.

This is a tough call. I went thru 6 pages of search engine results without finding one customer or review. Your Y!A question appears twice. I also went to the "warning" websites like ripoffreport.com but they also had nothing.
The site was created in 2007. The site hides its ownership. Normally it is not smart to deal with companies that "hide". There is no one to help if you have a problem.
