Macbook questions, please help?!?!?
Hi. Alright so i'm considering getting the regular 13" MacBook with regular specs except a 500gb harddrive. Ok so i will be using it to surf the web, Facebook, iTunes, downloads, pictures, maybe some school work and most importantly playing sims 3 (almost the primary reason for getting a mac). My questions are: 1) Does the MacBook perform good/great for Sims 3? 2) What is the maximum amount of RAM you can put in this Mac? 3) How long should this computer last? (My aunt has had her MacBook for 3 years). 4) Is it worth it? (Don't tell me to get a PC because i hate my PC that i have right now and that is why i would get a Mac). Thanks.

All the things the firs guy said but you dont need to pay the 200 extra for the pro as the basic pro does EXACTLY the same as the regular macbook TRUST ME
I play the sims 3 on my regular macbook plus all the extra stuff I have downloaded plus all the expansion packs and it runs perfectly fine :)

And my answer are:
1) It perform great for the Sims 3.
2) The maximun amount of RAM are 8GB of DDR3 with the latest MacBook
3) how long a thing last is depend on how you use it. some people have been used a mac for 8 years.
4) Yeah, it's worth... if you really need windows, you may also install windows on your mac using bootcamp.
I suggest you to add some more $$$ and get a MacBook Pro 13".
Hope it helped.
@iPerson:
4GB of RAM instead of 2GB in MacBook
Aluminium Unibody so it's hardly scratch (Looks cooler as well)
Backlit Keyboard
and only $199 difference... I think 199 worth it, because you don't plan do use it for a short time but for years. is it?

one million what do you desire do do with it ? in up to now i do know so long as you bought the money you'll be able to do plenty with it however i could no longer recognise certainly i dont do a entire lot with song two if there's a mac variant for it certain if no longer instal home windows with boot camp and run it from there the brand new macs are capable to run home windows too three will depend on how a lot you desire to spend if you happen to dont play a lot video games and also you dont brain a thirteen inch reveal the macbook is the high-quality one to head for all macs include storage band ( a song modifying aplication ) and different programs storage band could tide you over til you uncover whatever larger four mac guide professionals are better ( better reveal ) extra ram larger video card ( intel at the macbooks nvidia or ati at the professional's ) rather better hd and a further keyboard and thats approximately it five VAT (vauge addition to the complete simply kidding valued further tax simply one other method for goverments to bleed us dry ) a tax markup that will depend on the price of the nation in europe you typically pay a 19 % top class on most sensible of the flat price us rate so alternatively of 999 its 1099 right here
