Any difference in performance between connecting a display to GPU port and graphic out port on motherboard?
Say I had a GPU on one of my PCIe slot, but my display(s) are not connected to the GPU out ports, instead, they're connected to the Thunderbolt out port on the mobo.
Will the system receive performance benefit from the dedicated GPU, or will it just use the integrated GPU on the motherboard?
Thanks.

1 AnswerPhotography10 years agois it OK to rotate the 50mm f/1.4D lens in AF mode?
Just bought a 50mm f/1.4D this morning… When I using autofocus, I still can rotate the focus ring on the lens even though I have to apply some force compare to while I'm using the manual focus mode… the question is that by rotating the focus ring when the lens is in focus (AF mode) will it harm my D7000 focus motor??

2 AnswersOther - Computers10 years agoPro' Photographers, Nikonians, help!?
I'm looking forward to buy a new lens for my Nikon DX format D7000. Now I've come across the new 50mm f/1.8 G which will be available here in a few weeks. Uhh, has anyone tried it yet? How do you think about it? Is it worth the price or do you think the old 50mm f/1.8 D lens is better?
I heard some people say that the 50mm f/1.8 D can focus quicker than the 50mm f/1.8 G. Is it true?
Thanks!
