Are there (romance) relationship which could last forever?
Hi everyone,
I have a debate with my friend about relationship. It's curiosity drive me into the debate.
I believe there are relationship which could last forever (I didn't mean eternity, I just mean lifetime). and he said "there's no relationship which could last forever".
Can you please give us some idea, and prove since we don't have much experience in this field?
Thanks in advance.
Forever didn't mean eternity, I just meant a lifetime (until death). Of course nothing will last forever since no one can live forever to love.

Once you specified lifetime over eternity, you have pretty much answered your own question. Only a fool would believe that with nearly 7 billion people on the planet that there is no possibility of a lifetime romantic relationship, especially not if the true meaning of romance is understood.

There are at least two things are possible that might satisfy the conditions of 'romantic relationship'.
One you experience romantic love as a feeling for a specific individual for your entire life.
Or, two people experience a life long relationship where both experience the emotion for each other until they die.
We have examples of each example with wide spectrum in terms of the dynamics of the relationship.
But...
It is also possible to experience such emotions for more than one person, and to have relationships with more than one person.

Well obviously there are people who stay together for a lifetime of adulthood, so yes. Lots of people don't want this or can't do this, but some can.
