Joining the military?

I am wondering of my odds of being able to join the military. I am very short, around 4'11-5'1 and I weigh 103-110lbs, I just had a Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)--which is the fragmentation of a kidney stone--about a month ago but I go this week to find out if my kidney is damaged from the stone or if anything happened when the stone was there to make my kidney not function. That's the only real health issue I have had. Last time I talked to a recruiter I was unsure about it so I told him I wasn't interested. I was 18 at the time, still young in life but I'm 21 now and very interested in the opportunity.

What are my chances of actually being able to join given the height/weight and the kidney issue I just had?

Update:

In include my height/weight because someone told me that may be an issue.

Your height and weight is fine. The minimum height for the military is 4'10" Your weight could be about 100 would be better although the Navy and Air Force have a higher weight allowance.

The kidney issue is the problem right now. You'd have to wait 1 year to join the military after the kidney stone is disolved and hope you don't get one in the other kidney or another one in the same kidney in the meantime.

With so many applicants right now they're really not giving waivers.

In the meantime you might get some college under your belt. And go ahead and talk to a recruiter to find out for sure.
