Can someone tell me how the health care bill will kill jobs?

From what i know, it will make it much cheaper to give an employee health coverage.

I would have more employees than i do currently, but health insurance companies want so much money for coverage, it's hard to turn a profit. It adds so much more risk to hire an employee, most small business including me don't bother. The insurance industry doesn't care, because they know if i want to expand, i'm at their mercy. Since i am a union company, i have to supply health coverage for my employees. What i have to pay for each employee in health coverage, i can buy another home(above average price).

I have had enough work to hire more employees, but after the bills are paid, the only ones who make out well from me hiring would be the employee and health insurance company. I get stuck with pennies and tons of risk.

Maybe there's something about the bill i missed, which will make it worse than it already is. Can someone point me to what that is. Also, i'd like answers to be technical, not brainwashed answers that make no sense, or a repeat of what your favorite pundit says. Basically explain your answers!

Thanks in advance

Update:

Weak showing cons. (so far)

If anything, the health care bill will allow people to go out and profit from the things they want to do, and not to be miserable with their job for the sake of their, and their families health.

Update 2:

Thanks Kyle, but i didn't ask how to manage my employees or their health insurance. Of course i don't need additional risk to self insure employees. I'm not an insurance agent and i don't want to be one.

The health care bill includes a 35% subsidy to help pay for insurance premiums, and the rush of over 30 million people in the system just might make it worthwhile to hire more employees. Plus there are state run programs or pools to purchase health insurance that should again make it cheaper for me to hire.

All in all, it looks to me that this health care bill will in fact create jobs rather than destroy them.

I just wanted to know how this bill will kill jobs, that's all.

The claim from people who will no longer remain employed by choice because they won't need to in order to maintain just health insurance. People who only work for health care benefits.

"What CBO actually said is that the impact of the health care law on supply and demand for labor would be small. Most of it would come from people who no longer have to work, or can downshift to less demanding employment, because insurance will be available outside the job"

You should self insure and have a health care provider manage. This would save you lots of money if you truly believe that the primiums are not going to health care. Then you would be avle to cut out the middle man of the insurance company but you take the risk. If you can't take the risk then be thankful that the insurance company is there to take it for you.

Also if you are a small business and qualify for the small business tax credits, they last for a maximum of 6 years and then you get to pay it all again. Why do you think the bill scores as a cost saver over ther first decade. There are more taxes than expenses in the bill, simple as that. The bill does a great job of shuffling money around.

Also to qualify for the full small business credits your company needs to be less than 10 employees and make less than $25,000. It phases out over 50 employees I believe and for sure if they make over $50,000 on average.

Why have we waited see you later to splendid a fraudulent fee by potential of medicare. is that this a case of the fox watching the chicken abode.

I am sure someone could, but I doubt anyone will waste their time trying to explain it to you. I think you have one of the DRD4 genes that Harvard and UCSD did a study on.
