What company owns Saab?

General Motors sold it, and I know Koenigsegg considered buying them, but they backed out of the deal. So who owns Saab?

Spyker owns it now, but Saab is still producing GM's designs until 2013-14 (i think). But the "new" cars that came out this year are all GM designs, along with the 9-4 set to come out in like 2012.

Saab was an individual company up untill the 90's when GM bought a share. GM fully took over in 2002. Since GM failed spyker cars, a supercar company, saw potential left in the brand and made an agreement with GM to buy it.

quick answer: Saab is now owned by spyker cars. they have changed their name to saab/spyker.

    Koenigsegg Automotive and/or Spyker Cars?

Spyker Cars, the eclectic super car company now owns Saab.

They still receive parts, supplies, support from GM.

    Source(s): Saab experience.
