is Toy Story 3 really that good?

I thought it was a joke when I saw that Toy Story 3 was nominated for best picture. I haven't seen it. Is it really THAT good?

Obviously it's not expected to win but how can an animated sequel be among the best movies out of ALL the films made in 2010?

I honestly prefer How to Train You Dragon, but yes, it certainly is that good. It's hilarious, plus it has emotional resonance that most animated movies outside of Pixar lack, and that's why Pixar has gotten two animated movies in the Best Picture category. I've seen Toy Story 3 four times, and it made me tear up every time. Same thing happened with Up.

Toy Story 3 was a very good film. I thought the very best part of it was the ending because it brought a wonderful and satisfying close to all three movies and it made me cry too. However, I think How To Train Your Dragon is an exceptional movie and deserved the Golden Globe. I also really liked Despicable Me. It surprised me that any sequel, let alone a "3rd" movie would win a Golden Globe.

a million. i became in severe college even as Toy tale got here out. i became in college and under no circumstances married even as Toy tale 2 got here out. in reality, i did not even comprehend my husband then. even as Toy tale 3 got here out before this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, my young ones were 7, 5, 3, and 2. 2. I took my children to confirm Toy tale 3 through myself because my husband became operating. And definite, we offered it right this moment yet hid it away as a Christmas present.

Well i loved it. but one thing though is that the end is not close to as sad as everybody makes it out to be. its no sadder than any other animation ending to a film. people over exaggerate it. they are like "saddest film ever" i was like "um, this isn't sad at all" lol

but i don't know if its good enough to beat all films in 2010. but i loved it. i would probably choose one of these though

if HBO Mini Series could enter i would say The Pacific hands down.

or if Red vs Blue Revelations could enter i would want them to win. but they aren't part of the whole hollywood scene (cause they are much cooler than that)

so these are some that could win that i would WANT to win

    The Book of Eli

    Green Zone

    Wall Street:Money Never Sleeps

    Toy Story 3

    Shrek the Final Chapter

im pretty sure though that some lame movie is gonna win. like Inception or Black Swan

It's THAT good. I was on the verge of crying. I had to hold the tears in at the end, I didn't want anyone in the theater to see, lol
