xbox 360 remove able hard drive? Urgent!!?

I have a white xbox 360 that has 10GB and plan on buying a new xbox 360 since my white machine is broken, i was wondering if the white 10GB drive would fit into the black 4GB or 250GB and still work like new?

My controller still works, is there some way i can salvage my controller when i buy a new console instead of buying a new controller?

Update:

I don't remember when i bought it but yeah its was a 10GB hard drive, from walmart in Kansas, i believe when all the other versions ran out i was left with a 10GB its not arcade or pro or elite, it has the HDD with it whatever that means if that helps.

    I was looking for the similar question yesterday. when trying to find the solution I ended up getting a free Kinnect and Xbox 360 from 1stmskinnectnetwork.tk!! my xbox with Kinnect is scheduled to ship in just a few days n it's going to be awesome!!

    The harddrives in the systems can be moved and interchanged between systems. As long as your issue isn't with the hard drive itself (though I don't ever remember them making a 10GB hard drive).

    Your controller can be reprogrammed to any other XBox 360 system, but most new systems come with one controller.
