My hand has been numb for most of the day, should I be worried?

Half of my hand has been numb for most of the day. It's not falling asleep like needles where you can shake it off. It's just numb and tingly. No other symptoms except I've been tired today, but that could easily be just from my life being busy. Anyone know why this might be?

Update:

It's my pinky and ring finger, so I guess that means it's the ulnar nerve. What does this mean? Will it go away on it's own?

Update 2:

Thank you!!

Pinched nerve, or some other nerve problem.

If it's your pinky and half of ring finger, it is the ulnar nerve.

Thumb, pointer and middle and half of ring is median nerve.

Have this looked at if it persists tomorrow.
