how do you combat morning sickness?

I am feeling very will right now.. I can't find any relief from the flipflop feeling in my stomach

Update:

I meant ill not will haha. That stinks because this is terrible. Hit me out of nowhere. I can't walk because it makes dizzy and I was thinking of taking Pepto but I'm so afraid of hurting the baby.

Update 2:

Hubby called the toys r us around the corner from us and they have it in stock so he is running out. I'm gonna try some of these tips because I am feeling seriously horrible...

Thank you ladies, everything makes sense, especially the blood sugar drop because I feel very shaky right before I feel sick and I def do not eat enough.

Try having something small to eat, like some crackers, toast or chips even. Just make sure its dry and bland. Some people find ginger helps, so maybe some ginger beer (lemonade worked better for me-or lemonade ice blocks) sour lollies help (or preggy pops they're sour I think) drink plenty of water but only in little sips. And if you can try to have a bit of a lay down. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, the best advise I can give is eat lol sounds weird but never let your tummy get empty.

One theory about morning sickness is that it is caused by a drop in your blood sugar. Therefore, when you feel the nausea coming on, try eating something. I know that's not what you want to do when you feel like vomiting, but try it. It always worked for me. Hope it works for you as well. I know it's miserable!

Actually if you ask your doctor they can prescribe you a safe pill to the baby and it makes you not be as sick...also AVOID greasy foods..fries..chicken...blaaaa it made me so sick! Ice cream was amazing when I was pregnant also vegies didnt make me sick...fruits are good but gave me bad heartburn later on in pregnancy cause the acid.

Honestly, there is not much you can do for morning sickness. It is your horomones that cause it and you will have elevated levels your entire pregnancy. The levels taper off in your 4th month but they can soar again in your 8th and 9th. Just eat what and when you can. Good luck!
