2003 saab 9-3 cigarette lighter moves?

i was wondering if anybody knew why the cigarette lighter in the 2003+ model saab 9-3 slides back and forth?? anybody know? if so please tell me. it would be nice to know the reason behind it. lol.

    Not sure, but don't ya just love the quirkiness of Saabs? lol.

    If u do smoke get your Local Grage to look at it. like I am a Saab sales man in ritchmond gm and that happens alot so I own a 900 1985 bring it into the dealer ship we will be willing to fix it for you email me at bamfordsam@rocketmail.com
