What should I do with these extra hot dogs?
I have like 8 or 10 hot dogs in the fridge that need to be used soon. They belong to my old roommate who just moved out and I don't particularly like hot dogs.
Does anyone know of a recipe or something to use them up? I don't want to just waste them.. I thought about freezing them but they'd likely just stay there until they became so freezer burnt I threw them out..

Frankfurter/Hot Dog Quiche
Ingredients
500g (1 lb 2 oz) pack of ready made shortcrust pastry
1 350 g pack of Frankfurters (10 in my packet)
6 free range eggs
6 tablespoons of Greek-style yogurt
3 tablespoons of mascarpone cheese
Splash of Louisiana hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley
Grind of black pepper
Pinch of sea salt
Splash of milk
2 large tomatoes, sliced
Method
1.Pre-heated the oven to 200° C (400° F - Gas 6)
2.Roll the pastry out into two circles to fit your flan trays. Push-out flan dishes are the best for this I find (as long as your pastry doesn't leak)
3.Blind bake the pastry for 10 minutes
4.Add the eggs, cheese, yogurt and a splash of milk to a bowl, season with salt, pepper and your hot sauce
5.Whisk up the mixture so the cheese and yogurt is well combined
6.Cut the Frankfurters in half and arrange in the dishes
7.Sprinkle the parsley into the mixture
8.Divide the egg mixture between the two trays and top with sliced tomatoes
9.Reduce the heat of the oven to 180° C (350° F - Gas 4)
10.Bake for a further 40 minutes, leaving a little head-room as they tend to rise a bit - like a souffle

Super Bowl party food! Freeze them tightly wrapped until you need them; defrost in the fridge overnight. Grill and serve with buns, OR cut into bite-sized peices, and put in a crockpot (or heat on the stove) with a jar of mustard and a jar of grape jelly. It sounds weird, but it's very common at cocktail parties. Or you could just use a bottle of BBQ sauce. Serve with toothpicks to pick the weenies out of the sauce. Crescent rolls wrapped around a half or 1/3 dog with sliced cheese and baked is a good use.

Cut them up and put them in mac and cheese or make baked beans and cut them up and put them in that
Make pigs in a blanket with crescent rolls pillsbury has the directions right on the package add some sliced cheddar to make them cheesy!
Make corn dogs
Make tomato soup (campbells) and cook some macaroni and throw them together yumm
Slice them and put them inside a grilled cheese sandwich
Slice them and pan-fry them with some seasonings
Slice them and make a sandwich with cheese lettuce and tomato and a spicy mayo
Or invite friends over and have them eat them!
They are even good not heated, since they're already cooked!
Enjoy :)
