Snow/Ski Trip questions??!?!! (:?

Ok. So on Friday I'm leaving for a snow/ski trip with my church youth group (just middle school.) I'm 13, 8th grade girl. I have a couple questions about this weekend. It's at Squaw Valley.

1. I really don't like skiing. So me and a friend are going ice skating. I do figure skating, so I was just wondering if i should bring snow clothes. (They said to bring snow clothes) but i'm not sure because I'm used to skating? So. Should I bring snow clothes???

2. How much money should I bring not including activities? Our meals are provided. so how much spending money?

3. What should I bring?

4. It's a 3-hour drive. What should I wear on the way up? What should I wear while I'm not skating? Thanks. Can you please answer one or more of my questions. THanks.

Take a pair of uninsulated waterproof over pants and a waterproof shell coat. You can wear whatever you need under them for warmth, you will be ready for any weather, and they will take up minimal luggage space. 50 dollars a day. Comfortable warm clothes on both the way up and while not skating.

that is commonly uncomplicated that snowboarding is way less perplexing to p.c.. up the basics and make it down the bunny hill with out crashing than snowboarding. i develop into occurring intermediate runs on my third day of snowboarding - this usually takes a season on skis. once you get to the intermediate aspect, snowboarding is way a lot less perplexing to develop in. you'll usually be ready to ski moguls and extremely perplexing steep terrain a lot less perplexing on skis and also you'll draw close those skills and flow to an advanced skier in some season. snowboarding takes a lengthy time period to get extremely strong. there are quite some very diffused options because you purely have one part and no poles it calls for quite some stability, skill and technique to develop into extremely strong. Then there is getting to comprehend tricks contained in the park and carving on the runs - that's the outstanding thing about snowboarding - you could strengthen for years with out growing bored like you do snowboarding. in case you opt for to get strong at something rapidly and then merely cruise round - ski. in case you opt for to continuously push your self to strengthen and study new issues - snowboard. strong luck snowboarding is unquestionably extra intense priced for the kit, so as that should not be a element.
