is this a good reason to be annoyed?

when i pick up my daughter from school i see a lot of the parents not paying attention to their kids when they come out,instead they're on the phone or talking to someone there.i've seen many kids come out all excited running towards their parent only to get no greeting in return,and their faces just drop.i normally don't care what people do but this always bothers me for some reason
