anyone still think the nhs is safe in Tory hands?

Just a little extract from the article:

PRIVATE health firms are set for a half-billion-pound “bung” from the Tory-led Government for taking work away from the NHS.

A report says they should get 14% more than health service providers – for giving patients the same treatment.

Critics suggest rewarding private health care bosses with taxpayers’ cash is a form of payback for the £750,000 they have poured into Tory party coffers.

Update:

If that's not enough, then read this article:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/2011/01/28/t...

Update 2:

FOXY, it wasn't just £750,000, they got millions from American health care companies as mentioned in the second article.

Update 3:

Flash 197, private doesn't necessarily mean better. I had a NHS dentist which went private, it didn't make him or the service any better, it just cost more. The likelihood is that much of what is free at present will have a cost in the future.

Anyone who ignores the FACT that the NHS is being dismantled for ideological reasons by the 'governing' cartel is either a Thatcherite bowel movement or an educationally subnormal sheep who is totally incapable of observation or thinking for themselves!!

It doesn't look like anything's safe in the madness that now grips the people running this country. It's payback for the £750,000 that private health chiefs poured into the Tory party funds of course. And yet another example of those Tory liars and cheaters looking after their posh rich mates. They will underpin the 'attraction' of private health insurance for those that will pay, and at the same time undermine the NHS. Or so it appears.

  • This is just the next step in what already is a privatised NHS which has been much to the benefit of the multinationals. You can blame the Tories all you want but, many people's hatred of them has done nothing but, leave them blind to the continuation and further privatisation under the New Labour years.

No, the Tories are liars. They assured us that the Health care system was safe, but they told us porkies. Of course it isn't safe, any more than anything else in the UK! (Look at our forests)

I have a friend who is a Gp and he tells me this is just the start of privatisation of the NHS by the backdoor.

If I get a better service for me and my family, I would not give two hoots if they sacked 1000 people. As we pay for it we should get the best possible service from it and if its in the private sector then so be it.
