The Fleet Foxes are pretty good, I like Wendy Darling (but it's hard to find), Eisley is pretty good, cool female leads. Start with that :)

There are also sites you can go to that will create playlists for you according to your tastes. I've found a lot of good music like that (though I listen to weirder music then the aformentioned)

I've never listened to any of them, but Dashboard Confessional is my favorite indie band:)
