question for atheists?

recently i heard a scientific say on a TV documentary: the spiritual spectral and paranormal are part of Knowledge, just as science is part of knowledge too.

also on the same TV program a psychologist who doesn't believe in real exorcisms is asked: do you believe in the Devil? and the psychologist answers: This is not the answer you're expecting from me but yes i do, if there's a name for evil why not calling it Devil.

so for atheists do you feel limitated for just what science says?

there is a field of science, actually a few fields of science, that general scientsts dont view as 'real science'

the prson who said that, woudl probably work in one of those fields, and most scientists wouldnt take what they say seriously

sad as that is, cos i actualyl agree they are a fact of life, but scientists can be biased and jaded as well

untill the evidence supports or proves something

i also say that there is a natural 'evil' thats just the word we use for it, theres night and day, light dark, so why not good and evil

    thats the point

it makes logical sence, it just doesnt have the sufficient tangible evidence to back it up to be considered 'real' science

i feel limited by humans , scientists are still humans

It seems to me that the religious are trying to redefine their beliefs as science although they are not backed by reproducable experiment and reasoning. This is just another part of that rebranding. I cannot make up my mind whether it is a hopeful sign that people are turning to science so religion is desperately trying to pretend it is sometihng it is not, or if it is a way of muddying what is and is not provable.

I don't feel limited to science. Science is interesting and explains many things. I also enjoy music and many other things in a different way. If anything in this life is limiting it is religion.

I only believe in what I can see , hear , touch and smell and feel. I don't believe anything that anyone might tell me , I have to see it for myself. I don't feel limited since the sky is the limit and even beyond that. I don't believe in God for myself or what scientists may SAY unless something is proven to me. I have an open mind and because of that I am in no way limited. Where as lets say someone who is religious, they only have the religion to ponder over which I personally would consider far more limited.

One thing is for sure and that is everyone has the right to believe in what makes them feel good and since it makes that person feel good then no one else should say that their way is wrong. What is right for one person may be wrong for another but it doesn't mean that the person that it is right for believes in something wrong.

Science limits itself to reality. American TV "documentaries" do not.

There is no evidence of anything "spectral" or "paranormal", or of exorcisms. If you can prove otherwise, James Randi has a million dollars for you.

What is this spectral and paranormal "knowledge" you have? How can we test those claims?

You need to elaborate on your question. I know I believe in Evolution and find interesting anything that explains its process. astronomy, geological processes and particle science for example. everyday there is more to learn about one of the many processes I believe is the reason we are here. Also, one person does`nt Speak for all atheists. It isn't like we are an organized religion. Just free thinkers. And logical thinkers.

Apparently you think there are only two scientists? Otherwise why would you be confusing what two individuals say for what "science" says, and then trying to pass it off in a lame attempt to trap atheists in a semantic cesspool.

    Do you feel limited?

With the ONE book you're "supposed" to live your life by?

How could we feel limited with new information sprouting from every direction?

    Science is miraculous.

"so for atheists do you feel limitated for just what science says?"

Science doesn't 'say' anything. Also, in what context do you mean? Limited in what way?
