Is this a healthy breakfast?

Usually for breakfast I have a Thomas Whole Wheat Bagel which is 100% whole wheat, with peanut butter on it. Do you think this is a good breakfast? It usually keeps me full so I usually dont need lunch or anything to eat until about 2:00, and even then its not extreme hunger so I usually get by until dinner at 5:00.

Sounds healthy (they have natural peanut butter or even nutella which is healthier than regular peanut butter, regular peanut butter has hydroginated oils in it).

And I'd add some yogurt or a banana.

But as for only eating breakfast and then nothing until dinner is not healthy, your body will hold on to any fat from the peanut butter and your dinner and store it away making you fat even though you dont eat much. You need to eat lunch, eat at least a half of a sandwich and have some veggies on the sandwich or on the side with a glass of milk. And have some protein at dinner with some more veggies. And have apples and oranges to snack on during the day.

    It could be worse.

Ot is healthy, but you could have like porridge with milk and a banana or apple. I find that very filing and its really healthy.

Or a smoothie with a banana on the side - but I find I get hungry when I have that

Or vanilla yoghurt with honey and then a slice of soda bread with butter and jam

The thing also is that bagels and peanut butter is quite fatty - so I would try varying it everyday. just have it 3-4 days a week!!

Find something healthy as a spread and boost that bagel with tomato. Unless of course you like tomato and peanut butter.

Actually, a healthy breakfast is supposed to be the largest meal of the day. So you should start eating a bigger breakfast and a smaller dinner...

Yes this a healthy breakfast if butter is good for you. So you should go to a good consultant.

You should exam your body and then you take decision.

    Thanks and regards.

I would add some fruit to include vitamins.

I would definitely add a vegetable like lettuce, tomato, cucumber.

veggies have too many nutrients for the day- you can't pass it up.
