Find the measure of the angle whose supplement is 47degrees more than twice that of its complement.
Can you tell me how to do this or what the equation to find the measure would be? Thank you.

180 - x = 2(90-x) + 47
180 - x = 180 - 2x + 47
-x + 2x = 180 + 47 - 180
x = 47
Therefore the angle would be 47 degrees.

2 angles are complementary if while extra they equivalent ninety stages. supplementary angles are while they are upload they equivalent a hundred and eighty. If given a million attitude to locate the degree of the corresponding complementary or the supplementary angles only subtract the regularly happening attitude from ninety 1o a hundred and eighty respectively.
