I cant stop my underarms from sweating?
i cant remember how long ive had this maybe since the last year. My underarms wont stop sweating even if i use deoderant my sweat soaks through my shirts and makes my sleeves wet. Im a very healthy 19 year old male i work out and excercise regularly but only sweat when im not working out. Ive tried shaving my armpits, several brands of Anti Persperant Deodorant ive tried speed stick which worked until a week later. I sweat to the point where when im wearing a sleeveless t shirt the sweat will drip from my armpits and roll down my triceps it's very annoying and i ahve to wash my t shirts after 30 minutes within wearing them. Can someone please give me advice its becoming an annoyance

I don't have an exact answer but i'll try to help. My father has a similar problem with sweat. If it goes through you shirts you might want to try wearing thicker clothing. You can also try putting tissues or cloth under your arm so that the sweat will all go on the tissue not throught your shirt. My dad uses a deodarant called Fa. You can't find it in many stores but you can do some research on where to buy it. He gets his from New York and t's like a blue liquid that makes you smell rally fresh. Take showers before you go somewhere if you don't do that already. I'll try to do more research to help but i hope some of this helps =)

Use a prescription strength antiperspirant. If all else fails, go to a doctor. There are certain conditions that cause people to perspire a lot and a doctor can prescribe you something stronger than OTC.

Sounds like you might have overactive sweat glands. Go see a doctor; if he can't prescribe something that works you can surgically remove them.

dont use prescription anti perspirant its so bad for you - go to the doctors and ask for blood tests to test your hormones - if your not overweight and your sweating badly then your body is trying to tell you somethings out of sync
if the doctor doesnt find anything then go to a kinesiologist
Source(s): i had the same thing the only deodorant thats helped lessen it overtime is natural PitRock deodarant - anti perspirants make things worse thats why its probly your hormones - Anonymous1 decade ago
a good friend of mine suffered from this, it was awful for her. She started using prescription strength anti perspirant, i'm sure she said you have to use it at night and then use normal anti perspirant deodorant in the day. look it up, she's never had a problem since.
