Bill O'Reily made a statement that the far Left is anti-American?

Hmmm ... so far it's been nothing but name-calling and 'whatever' comments. But I still don't see any quote from any notable far-left winger saying anything positive about America. Shocking!

Lord Percy - Apparently you do not understand (or at least pretend to not understand) the term FAR-left, which in reality isn't really liberal at all, since they advocate complete government control, redistribution of wealth, collapsing our economy, and illegal immigration. All of which is absolutely 100% anti-American. So please quit trying to put anti-American socialistic big government ideology into the same camp as real liberalism, take your irrelevant rantings and direct them towards the toilet.

Bob - A little bit of unrevised history lessons will do you wonders my friend. You are entitled to your opinions, but let's not perpetuate misinformation ok? America is not a Democracy, it is a Constitutional Republic. There's a key difference between the two, and I'm too tired to get into a long drawn-out history lesson for you right now. I am an Reilly fan but last night he went a little to far. He should not have raised his voice to Colmes. He could have gotten his point across without yelling. That said however, he has a point. Many of the far left take sides with countries and beliefs that would like to see America wiped from the face of the earth. The say they stand for human rights yet support Islam with tortures and tears down women. They say they stand for human rights yet tell us to stay out of other countries business. They take to our streets to support protesters in Egypt than scream we need to stay out of their affairs! IT makes no sense. They bully, tear down communication, spout hate and than scream that the right are racists. So he probably is not far off. When was the last time a conservative burned an American flag? Or treated a military vet with contempt? If the far left does not want to be seen as anti american they should not act like they are.

Anybody claiming that a party in their country is against that country is more or less consciously spitting out propaganda. There are many people that are anti-American, but they're generally not... y'know... residents of the USA. Nobody, or almost nobody wants their own country to pass through hard times.

I believe it may have been said that they appear to be so when discussing Sam Donaldson's support of Al Jazeera's coverage, with Monica Crowley and Alan Colmes (Crowleys' brother in law). Rhetoric was flying fast and furiously on both sides and I do not know who said it definitively.

I think we need to start with a few of these people linking up with reality. I am so sick of people getting on here (both sides) and saying he/she lies all the time. Then only gives a third hand account or a personal remark to "prove" sadly, how ignorant they are.

Although I tend to agree more with his clarification "or at least feel like America is more of the problem rather than the solution", I think he was wrong in that confrontation with Colmes. Freedom of the press, baby, even when it's a hate-spewing network like Al-Jazeera.

Bill O'Reilly is just another FOX stooge ... if Jesus was living in America today O'Reilly would accuse him of being a dangerous anti-American leftist ... !
