No, a charge must be moving for a magnetic force to be acted upon it.

This can be described by the mathematical equation F = qvBsinx

where F is the magnetic force acting on the charge, q is the value of the charge, v is the velocity of the charge, and B is the magnetic field. If the velocity of the charge is 0, the magnetic force is 0 as well.

It follows that from Newton's second law, that the acceleration of the charge would be proportional to the force acting on it, which means that the acceleration would be 0 here, indicating no change in its velocity from rest.

enable me attempt to describe this with out all of those fancy letters. particularly, an Electron at relax could be like a country with its preserve down, and an enemy approximately to attack it. for sure it may set itself into action and get the better hand on the enemy, yet frequently it desires the frenzy. something that drives it to combat. Now, does that enemy have a using choose as nicely? if so, that should exchange the possibilities. Now, if that Electron is in a "Magnetic container", it could have allies. I for sure do not choose allies. this is stable for sure to have international locations prepared to sacrifice themselves for his or her surpreme grasp. besides, an electric powered container could probably be lots extra huge-unfold, yet not as efficient. with a bit of luck the country you're dealing with isn't united statesa.. i assume that explains all of it. Oh, particularly I propose "E". Suck it.
