Hello! I am a 12 year old girl and I REALLY want to be a singer and actress. I know so many people have this dream but i really want this and i would be willing to put in every spare minute of time i have and my parents would definatly support me the whole way. So the experience i have is i have done school christmas concerts and have had a small acting and singing part in that and than i have done and acting and singing summer camp and drama club at school and soon i am starting singing and acting classes and my biggest celebrity role model is selena gomez but at my currant age i would like to be a mix between a girl version of greyson chance and elle fanning. So please if you have any sort of tipe to help get me startedd I would greatly appriciate them. Also I can play the guitar and Piano. Thank you so so so much! :)

You're 12, ok. Just focus on doing what you like and evolving as much as you can without stressing. If you like singing and acting, study music and acting. Fame is totally overrrated and is in no way an aim in itself. At least, you probably know what you want. Many people simply want to be famous for the sake of being famous, which is a bad sign for today's western world and utterly ridiculous. You have a long way ahead. Don't rush. Perfect yourself. Find your meaning and follow your path. Be yourself. Forget about fame - it comes when it comes if it comes and most of the "famous" aren't even famous at all, you just hear about them for a split second and then.... whoosh! - they're gone.

Well you sound ambitious enough, but your need more. I have no idea how good or bad you are at singing/acting. You are obviously not going to become a star right away, you'll probably need a miracle. Classes will not make you a better singer then you already are, you are either a good singer or your not but they will help you realize you are a good or great singer. And acting classes probably will help you a little better. Post videos of you singing on YouTube, and audition for roles in plays in your area, and keep in mind those auditions for t.v. are fake (the kind that search the country) and they just want you to buy expensive acting classes.

    I hoped I hoped a little.

If you want to become a better singer, improve your singing voice and are considering an online course I strongly recommend this site:

    http://howtosing.toptips.org/

I am big fan of this online singing course. You can watch a video more times until you can grasp each concept. Even if the program runs on a 10-day period, you can spend more or less, depending on your own pace. All the guides and tools included in this program are designed by professionals. This means you will learn transitions, changes and voice modification techniques like a pro! It comes with a plethora of exercises, allowing you to improve any aspect of your voice.

It definitely the best alternative to expensive lessons with vocal coaches. Try it and you'll see great results!

One of the most diverse muscles in our bodies is the tongue. This amazing tool not only helps you talk, but also helps you properly sing. When you sing, it is important that your tongue rest in specific areas as certain notes or scales are attempted. Learn here how to sing https://tr.im/tDXhJ

The tip of the tongue is the easiest to control, but is not what is used the most in singing. When you sing, the tip of your tongue should be lightly pressed against the back of the lower teeth. This will ensure that it doesn't get in the way, or hinder the middle, sides, or back of the tongue when attempting certain notes. The back of the tongue, probably one of the hardest areas to control, should be the section that is relaxed. Once you get used to keeping the tip of your tongue lightly pressed against the back of your teeth, this should be easier to do. You can even put the tip a little lower if you feel it's in the way or becomes irritated. So, the back of the tongue should be relaxed, yet ready for use. You should be able to control it a little bit at this point. As you practice singing a little more, try to notice what the back and middle section of your tongue are doing. On lower tones or notes, the tongue will lie flat. On higher tones, the contrary. When it comes to lower tones, the tongue doesn't have as much work to do because the lower sound that is emitted originates in the chest cavity and is formed through the throat. With higher tones, however, the higher the tone, the more 'active' this back section of the tongue must be. Now that the tongue has been covered in some detail, it should be noted that singing is difficult on the muscles and surrounding cavities and ligaments. However, difficult does not mean painful. If in hopes of reaching a certain tone or trying to hold a sound, you thereby cause stress to your neck or throat muscles, you are not going to last long. Controlling these muscles, as steadily as possible, and working them to a certain point each day, without strain, is one of the most important factors when it comes to practicing and learning how to sing. Remember, you should never feel pain nor strain.

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tinyurl.im/aH6hn Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing. Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.
