What is the connection between the BRAIN and the SOUL?

i dont believe in souls physically, but rather think of them as a metaphorical representation of what a person would describe as the intellectual make-up of an animal. The thing that makes each living creature unique compared to the next, the essence on cognisant perception. If an artificial intelligence were to become self aware and perceptive of its surroundings i would then assume that this device would have gained what we call a soul.

Brain-

Is a part of you body. Your brain is not unique since many other people and animals have brains.

brain works like involuntarily most of the time. When people die your soul does not remain in the brain. most cultures believe your soul leaves to another plain. SO how could any of your loved ones go to heaven if your brain is your soul? Right its stupid so your brain is an organ

Mind

This one is kind of hard as we are taught in western education that the mind and the brain are the same. The mind is refered to in some cultures as the third eye which sees what the eyes cant. This means simply you can imagine things that do not exist or have happened yet. The fact that you can project yourself into the future is an attribute of the mind. The mind is so very fragile and multiple things can influence it easy. Its like when you slip on ice and then speak to yourself"I almost fell on my ***" and then you see some one slip on the same piece of ice you chuckle yourself and think i almost did the same thing. animals dont have this ability nor most other speices on earth. Animals act on instict the are born with all the information they need. Humans must learn and adapt. Our tell us what is wrong or right? not our brain Just think as far as controlling the body and thinking/calculating its all brain power.

Soul

this is really hard to answer because its scary to even research those who have one and those have lost one. Im sorry i cant be as detailed with but its hard to do research on such a subject. but souls are something that mere man cant comprehend with there mind or brain its hard to determine which is which so ......im sorry From what i have learned it is what makes you ...well you.

Some hold that the mind (and the soul) is but an epiphenomenon of the brain, but I don't buy it. Perhaps in a sense. But equally reasonable is the idea that the brain is like the receptacle of the soul/spirit, which infuses the entire individual and uplifts him/her.

I am convinced that the scientists who equate the mind (or soul) with the brain have really missed the boat. Among other things, just because a characteristic is not quantifiable does not make it unreal. Some of the most potent things in the universe cannot be placed under the microscope or weighed.

Brain is contain microprocessor, RAM and multi layer memories.

Soul is very complex computer program that installed in a brain. Soul is consist many program like personality, behavior etc include the virus program that have negative behavior.

Soul is unique and installed in a brain depend on DNA, gender and other unique codes.

Thus, without the brain impossible soul will stayed.

When human dead the soul and all memories during life will volatile and transmitting to the server

None of these questions can be answered today and are hotly debated among philosophers, however objectively speaking their might be no connection and we might just be flesh and the soul was just a creation of our mind. Personally, I believe that there is a soul but, can not answer any of the questions mentioned. In conclusion, these questions can't be answered because there is a conflict of interest between the scientific and personal aspects of even rational people like myself.

mind and body are funi, not one but one, not two but two, funi, thats Japanese. If you are going through hard times, your brain can make you feel ill, I had anxiety and barfed often. Likewise, body affects mind, a highway patrolman on a motorcycle with hemorrhoids would have a bad day.

well in psychology, if I remember correctly, the brain is just the brain, but people usually say soul to mean who that person is, which is still in the brain, but that's how they see it. Brain and Mind are different for some reason.
