This tree is very strait with no branch growth below the top 6ft on the tree's north side. The tree is 84 inches in circumference measured at 4 ft. above it's base. The Cedar is about 80ft.high after losing it's top 12ft. I think it's a great cedar but unsure what it is worth in board feet or dollar value, please help thanx

This question comes up from time-to-time.
While Cedar is a generally a premium lumber, the cost of "logging" a single tree usually means the best you can hope for is to break even, you will likely have to pay, especially if it is a difficult fall, like near houses, power lines, or a roadway.
Also, many mills will not even accept a so called "yard tree" (if that is what this is). They will not risk their equipment on a tree that might have wire, nails, or other foreign objects.
If you can fall the tree yourself, and if you can split fence rails yourself, and advertise successfully you may be able to make a couple hundred $$. Otherwise, count yourself lucky if you break even.

Call a lumber mill to find out as pricing varies from state to state and the time of year. Sounds like a big piece of wood.
