these are the beetles:
http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=...
we had loads of them in our pantry, i cleaned it out and threw away all the stuff they like/infested
recently i saw them AGAIN, i think i took caer of it early because i seen only one or two, but they did get in the flour, but i fished them out.
my mom say it doesn't matter if you eat the flour after you take the beetles out, but am not sure... will they grow into worms in your stomach like fleas in dogs?
serious answers only, if you dont know, dont answer i dont know, i dont care if you dont know either, i only care for the truth.

one of the sites reached from your link, on the 'web' said this...
Once the infested material is found, it should be destroyed or frozen for 5-10 days.
so, freeze the flour and be more comfy about using it, if it bothers you.....
and like the others said, considering what's in some of our other foodstuffs, a little beetle dirt is nothing!!... especially after cooking!!....

I do. They are non-poisonous, add protein, filter out when run through a sieve, and the flour is sterilized after ANY cooking. Waste of good food to toss!
You do realize you are always eating the eggs, even if there are no insects?? They are in the foods from the factory.

your mom is right
sift the flour and use it if you want to - its not going to hurt you
most people wouldn't - they think its gross - but it isn't going to turn into worms in your stomach
you stomach has acids that will kill the bug bits left behind -
did you know that bug parts and bugs are allowed in our grains before they are ground -so many parts per million - people eat bugs every day without knowing it - the government sets safe limits on them -
every time you eat any bread products you are eating bugs and bug bits
