Would there be any issues with using a Fluval 405 Canister filter and a Penguin 350 HOB with bio-wheel filter?
I plan to buy a marineland 55gal kit which comes with the 350 bio-wheel filter, and i found a great deal on a Fluval 405 Canister so i'm not passing it up. So would two filters on the 55 gal cause any issues? Also if i get a 75 gal instead i think i'd still get a 350 biowheel or a 450, again unless anyone knows of any known issues which might arrive?
I plan on keeping Orandas i had some many years ago started with 6 in a 20 gal tank(i know now that was too many fish for the tank) and ended up with 3 for about 2 good years. one grew to the size of my fist. So now i'm getting back into fish keeping and I've read and researched so i think with a 55 gal, i can keep max 5 Orandas and they should do well with extra filtration. I hope to grow them large and possibly sell them when they reach 5 to 6 Inches.

There will be no problems with using the Penguin 350 and the Fluval 405 on the same 55-gallon or 75-gallon tank, unless you are keeping fish that are very weak swimmers (seahorses, for example) and therefore can't tolerate so much water movement.
I have both of these filters, and they work very well.

No problems with doubling up or mixing and matching filters, even different styles and sizes. Unless, as Gary mentions, you create so much current in the tank that the fish can't handle it.
