79 Trans Am won't start?
I have a 79 Trans Am with a 6.6 liter 403 that won't fire. I drove it around last week with no problem. It's a cold blooded starter anyways but now it won't fire at all. It turns over fine but I get no spark, any ideas to help me out?

use a little engine start(spray ether) and see if you can get it to fire . . . .If you're not a gear head . . then time to nurse it into the shop.
Don't start replacing things . . . if you're running a std distributor . . you might pop the cap and see if there's condensation there and allow it to dry out. Also you could pull a plug wire and hold it close to the spark plug while a friend cranks the engine . . and see if you see a spark . . that'll tell you if you're getting spark.
If you're running a std distributor . . it could be something as simple as the condenser . . a $2 part
