  • Are we approaching the peak of our division in this country?

With each scandal that breaks in Washington D.C. one side is outraged, the other is silent and dismissive. Hasn't this been the trend over the last few years. Obama and Holder were looking to prosecute Cheney and CIA agents after they took office due to water boarding that occurred. Now, this administration has done things that's never been done before like going after "whistle blowers" like no other president in the history of the United States. One side is Outraged, the other claims that the argument or scandals if you will are trivial and insignificant. There are some on the left that quietly or perhaps fearfully agree that the administration has overstepped it's authority but refuse to make issue. The right has stood up even to it's own party's leadership and have as a result been considered embattled. The left has it's own dissenters but they seem to follow anyways as if in fear of being attacked and consumed by their own. Could we be anymore different and divided in this country than we are?

  • Is it obvious to everyone else these days?

With each day that goes by we hear something more coming out of Washington, none of it good. On one side you have the Conservatives jumping up and down at the injustice that is occurring. On the Liberal side you can hear crickets with no outrage at all. Is it absolutely obvious to everyone that there really is no common ground between the two ideologies? 150 years ago this country divided and killed each other over less. We've obviously come a long way sense then. Now it's a war of words, backstabbing and using the party in power's weight to intimidate and punish the other side. One side's outraged, the other is quietly pleased. Could we be any farther apart ideology wise? I think not. What say you?

  • If you're in the Ranger Regiment and you get taken off of the line and put in the mail room, what happens next?

For those who may know. If you're in the Ranger Regiment and you get pulled from the line for having a disagreement with your Platoon Sgt and get put in the battalion mail room. (No Disciplinary Action involved), what are the chances you'll get put back on the line again perhaps in another company?

  • Wouldn't it be nice to have a US President with half of the courage this man has.?

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, Learn the Language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

  • Would you give a toast to all of our men and women in uniform that have given their lives for freedom.?

Yesterday Cpl. Benjamin Kopp of 3/75 Ranger Regiment died of his wounds sustained in combat on July11th. He was 21 years old. I know that many many other Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Airmen have also layed down their lives for the sake of freedom. Would you give a toast to someone you knew that died for the sake of our freedom? I will toast Benjamin Kopp who was a friend of my own son which makes him a friend of mine. Thank you Benjamin for your service and sacrifice.

  • Will Parts from Ford Explorer fit onto a Mazda Navajo?

Recently my daughter got into a traffic accident. The Mazda Navajo she was driving suffered damage to the front bumper and front left fender. I'm have a hard time finding parts locally for a Mazda Navajo and I don't want to pay a lot for shipping cost if I order something over the NET. Because the vehicles look virtually identical, do you think the parts may be interchangeable?

  • What does a soldier in Afghanistan need?

My son just recently went to Afghanistan and I was wondering what to send him. I'd love to hear from those that have been there, what they needed most from the states. I understand the mail capabilities are very limited. Information would be appreciated. Thanks....

  • Does anyone know anything about hydraulic pumps?

I have a 1992 I/O Bayliner. I pulled it out of storage to get it ready for the season. For some reason when I tilt the rudder/ propeller down the pump works fine, but when I try to raise it back up, the pump doesn't even kick on at all. Any suggestions?

  • Why not use the stimulus package to voluntarily retire people over 50 that are still working?

There are over 40 million people over the age of 50 that are still working. Why not offer them 1 million dollars a piece to take a patriotic retirement with strings attached?

    The strings attached.

    1. You must buy an American made car = 40 million cars bought= Auto industry fixed

    2. You must purchase a house= 40 million homes bought= Housing market fixed

    3. You must retire from your job= 40 million job openings= Employment fixed.

Why are we not really getting creative in fixing the economy instead of flushing our money?

  • What do you think of this solution to our nations problems?

    A Divorce Agreement:

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists,

Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950's, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way. Here is a model separation agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each

taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two

sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be

relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide

other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes. We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war, we'll takeour firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah,Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnel You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all (three of them).

We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies,Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to

invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.. You are welcome to Islam,

Scientology, Humanism and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U. N..but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We'll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. We'll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem. I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute Imagine, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World.

We'll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot. Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit

delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you ANWAR which one

of us will need whose help in 15 years.

    P. S. Also, please take Barbara Streisand & Jane Fonda with you.
