If you're in the Ranger Regiment and you get taken off of the line and put in the mail room, what happens next?

Hard to say...... The longer you are in the mail room the less your chances......

This is one of the hazards of a Ranger assignment.... they could have dumped you entirely......

I would try to find a new "Plat Daddy".... talk to some other platoon sergeants..... and/or go to "Boss Night" and ask the CO for line duty......do not try to arbitrate the "difficulty".....just request a new platoon and line duty....

I have seen this alot, and most of the time the guys end up being more of a dirt bag because they feel like garbage, my best advice is to do the best you can, and always give 110% After a little while, ask if you can go back to the line. If you are in the battalion mail room, you would have a better chance because your hard work is seen by the higher ups due to your proximity.

Again, don't stay in dirt bag status for very long, and work hard, you will go back if you keep bugging people and showing that you changed.
