Personally maybe a success for the youth as oppossed to the failed attempt by the youth to make change in Iran. Watching things now, makes me have to say to those trying to make the Muslim Brotherhood the new boogeyman, the current protesters will be out in the streets again if those guys assume power.

    Good question -

I think it depends on how long they wait before having elections. If they give themselves time to make sure it's done properly, they may avoid the issues of having a power vacuum that caused problems in Iran back in 1979.

I think the main group to look out for is the Muslim Brotherhood. If they attain power, even democratically, I think that Egypt will probably undergo changes towards becoming more of an Islamic state.

Foreign nations may have to rethink their ties to that version of Egypt, which I'm sure would not be of much help on the Israel issue.

On the other hand, what do I know? Egypt could continue on to become a truly democratic nation. That's what I hope for, and I think the young people protesting right now could make it happen.

Since the military is the real power in Egypt, it depends how infiltrated the army is by the Muslim Brotherhood. If they have infiltrated the army enough to take control of it than they will take control of Eqypt

I see public trial for the president and his allies. Perhaps even charges for foreign nationals.

People blame others for their problems. Now they are going to go after those they think are guilty.
