as an native arabic speaker ... normally I would suggest standard formal Arabic ...

but its not very practical , however the closest dialects that might help are the ones spoken in the gulf .. because they're very much Standard , not with much twists like the lebanese or Egyptian .

    good luck !

I do not know which dialect is less difficult, however the dialect that's probably the most largely used and understood it Egyptian. First, Egyptians style nearly all of the Arab audio system. (simply populations of Arab nations and evaluate). Second, Egypt is the core of Arabic media (films, cinema, songs, television methods, and so forth...) and for that reason Egyptian is almost always understood all over the place the Arab global. However, as a begin in finding out Arabic, I could sugges you begin through finding out Standard Arabic, that is the language of the Quran, after which it is going to be less difficult to leanr and fully grasp the opposite dialects.

Standard arabic if you want to understand the news or to read a book ( almost all the books are in standard arabic)

Then, to speak with people it depends wich kind of countries you would like to go or to live ...

Depend also which kind of dialect you like more and will enjoy to speak ....

Or if your friends are arab from wich region they came from ...

Only you can know then, wich one you'll choose.

But if you want to be understood by a lot of arab people, i suggest you the Egyptian one.
