Did anyone else have thunder snow last night?
We had terrible lightening and thunder and then it poured on top of the two feet of snow we all ready have. Needless to say what a mess this morning. Had to hurry and shovel before the temp went down and it froze. I have lived here my whole lift and have never experienced anything like that, wow!

SandyO, I went through this experience earlier and it was simply the oddest thing i have ever experienced.
I live in NW Texas and in the 55 years that I have lived in the North Texas area...I have never witnessed anything like this. I have seen red lightning and I have seen tornadoes, but this was far different from the normal. It is eerily different!
It was thundering and lightning here while the sleet pelted everything. The wind was very high and caused many trucks to jack knife. It was simply an odd storm which caught many off guard here.

Nope. We missed the whole thing. Just a few miles north of any of these problems, this time.
I know what you're talking about, have been through these things in the past. Thunder snow generally scares me.

No, we've been in the 50's, 60's and fruit trees are starting to sprout, very unusual for Feb.(no.Calif.)
