    Does it sadden you knowing that the last time England won the world cup, they were playing against countries that basically played football as a pastime hobby;

    Now that the rest of the world actually play and train professionally, will England ever win again?

    Also, why is it, that players that allegedly train several times a week, injure themselves so readily, and yet the injuries are usually of the type that with the correct training should rarely ever happen? IS it all just a farce and deliberately played out like some kind of American Wrestling organisation where the winners and losers are pre-decided based on fan approval?

    Also, If a player gets an injury and falls to the ground in pseudo-pain, and there is no one around to hear.. does he make a sound?

    Source(s): Self observation.

    I was never allowed a hero or role model as a child people need to teach their kids these things THEMSELVES. Sure if you want to admire a footballer for his skills then fine, however expecting them to act like mother Theressa is unrealistic because we know they are not the brightest or most strong willed. So people should NOT encourage their children "to look up" to a footballer. they kick a ball- nothing amazing about that. There are plenty of role models in society who are far better for children to look up too. I blame the parents heavily for this and the media as well Harry has got it wrong on this occasion edit:Like I said, it's the media who we should blame footballers never should be role models - LOL my parent ensured i never had role models. They never believed in that

    What do you think about the progress of Teams like Blackpool FC, in the Premier League, up against Teams that have owners willing to spend unlimited amounts of money on Players. With Blackpool being mid table, does this make a mockery of their spending power?

    What have you got against Roman Pavlyuchenko (SuperPav), the fans favourite and our top scoring striker....?

    And why do you not rotate the squad even during games as so to prevent injury or burn-out, as with the case of Gareth Bale....?
