Will my old computer games work in NTFS format?
I have several computer games that say they're for Windows 95 that I haven't installed yet. I have a copy of Windows 95(not yet installed) and I read somewhere that I can install Windows 95 in Virtual PC and still have the advantages of NTFS format. If I install Windows 95 in Virtual PC, can I still play these computer games? Some of the games I have still have th 3.5 flopply disks. Do these games have a FAT32 format too? Will they not work with a NTFS file system?
Also, another question, I have a computer game that just says it will work with DOS 5.0 or higher. It is x-com. Will it work With Windows 95? Will it work with Windows XP? Will it work with Windows Vista?

dude stop hanging on to the past
yes i have done it - the virtual world is great if you have an unteachable elder that can't learn the new programs
yes they have the fat 32 - it can be converted - time and money
you will still need the floppy drive - all of what you have mentioned is unsupported
the computer game that runs dos 5 can be modified to work win 95 but vista, win 7 will kill it
seriously loose the past - upgrade - all your beloved favorites are available in new formats you just have to get off the cash
these conversions are costly and the virtual world takes mass amounts of ram, you need multi processors and mass amounts of storage and you'll need to adopt someone like me to keep it running for you - i can build you the computer you need to run that junk but its gonna cost plenty
and i don't come cheap - is it worth one hundred dollars an hour for this outdated stuff? - it's cheaper to purchase new programs - or download them for free off of a mass game site
i love the old games too but i can keep my junk up and running - i don't need outside help
if you really need this done - drop me a line

You most first think of proprietary software, NTFS is Microsoft's proprietary files system, which controls windows users, Because of the way MS works and develop their operating system, they are the worlds worst company for making perfectly good computers obsolete.
You say you have windows 95, but you will not be able to install it on an up to date i586/i686 computer, period and it is the same way with windows xp vista and windows 7, they can't be installed on 386/486 computer systems which run windows 95 and 98, Yet today these old 386/486 computers systems can still run today's worlds fastest and most up to date (January/February 2011) operating systems with only 512 megabytes of ram.
The morel of the answer is educate yourself. windows is not the worlds only operating system that you believe it is, Two thirds of the world use Linux Free open source operating systems and software. which is faster stable and more secure and don't get viruses don't crash or freeze up.
Go to this website and educate yourself, and read what Open source operating systems and software are all about. education is a wonderful thing,
check these out.
