Why won't Muslims become close friends with Americans?

I am employed by a company that has many American Muslims employed there also. I work close with them and have developed friendships with a few. One Muslim I've known for sometime told me that he could not come to my home with his family due to the fact that his religion does not allow Muslims to "socialize" with non-Muslims. Ever since, I started studying the religion, the Koran and Sharia law and knowing what I know now, I totally regret ever inviting him to begin with. I have learned the less they know about me, the better. Of 26 Muslim employees since their hire, 2 remain. I strongly suggest Americans read up on their religion and beliefs. I am truly concerned their will be many problems in the not so near future if Americans remain in the dark about these people. Anyone else notice this with Muslim people not being social towards yourself or others?

well as a Muslim i don't have a problem of having friends that are non muslims because i already have and our religion doesn't order us to do that there is no a phrase in Qur'an that telling Muslims not socialize with non Muslims.
we can socialize with anyone it doesn't matter his religion or his country ,ur friend is narrow minded the problem in him not in Islam

Really nothing more to be said here. Their religion is scary for people who enjoy freedoms. We are the land of the free, but they want to come here and take that freedom we've worked for. We made it through the civil rights and got equality for EVERYONE...now they must segregate again and make us BACKTRACK? The gov't has "sympathy" and allows this to go on. We can't read up on our religious beliefs AND discuss it b/c we will be viewed as prejudice. They can though. It's a double standard American have to suffer and will continue to suffer in the future generations.

I heard that the Qu'ran actually says that Jews and Christian can enter heaven if they sincerely believe in God. And Islam is a monotheism faith. This muslim hate Americans is just misleading nonsense by the media brainwashing us. Ignorance is the source of all fear.

Yes, I noticed it.  It really was obvious in the very beginning.  It is kind of like Christians - the poorer their education the more they believe they are above the common man and better than "unbelievers".

They came to my home; I went to their homes.

We ate together, we talked together, we laughed together, we cried together.

I think your Muslim "friend" just doesn't like you.

To them America is the great satan.  That's OK.  I am not too crazy about them either.  As I have said and always will say, Islam is not a religion.  It is a cult of death.
