I hear there's over 4000 chemicals in marijuana?

THAT MAKES IT SOUND DANGEROUS TO SMOKE!

But isn't there 4000 chemicals in every plant?

I've heard the number of 400 untested chemicals. They have no idea what prolonged effects they can have on the human body.

There is actually 400 chemicals in the plant itself.

Tobacco contains some 500 (i think) natural chemicals plus the 600 (on avg) additives added to commercial tobacco. Tobacco smoke contains over 4000 different chemicals, produced by the chemical reaction of combustion.

If marijuana is smoked, it also contains different chemicals, but there are fewer of them. Mairjuana bud smoke contains 1/3 the tar of tobacco smoke.

Most people recommend you cook or vape though. With that, you are consuming the exact chemicals in the plant, no combustion reaction, no tar.

Any carbon-based material will produce nasty stuff when burned off. That's why vaporizers have taken a hold in the world of Marijuana.
