Best place to see Shuttle takeoff?

Is it better to see the Shuttle from Titusville (even with the crowds) or Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral itself?

    The closer, the better.

    But I suspect all locations are going to be VERY crowded for the next launch, as it may be the last.
