can i use rubbing alcohol to clean my ears after they have just been pierced yesterday?

i ran out of my claires stuff and i just got them pierced. i really don't want them to get infected. should i use rubbing alcohol? i've heard yes and no

what about hydrogen peroxide? is that the same thing?

    Yes, you can just use rubbing alcohol. Way back when, we all used to pierce our own ears and that is all we used.

    your best to use a sea salt soak. just mix up two table spoons of sea salt in a small container with warm water and saturate a cotton ball in this solutions. clean your ears with the solution then clean the salt solution of your ears with warm running water. rubbing alcohol will dry and irritate your ears.
