Do I put eyeliner over my eyeshadow, or under, or next to?

Well, since it's your first time, I would suggest going easy on the eyeliner.

Just put a little bit on your bottom waterline.

If you need help with how to apply it, I suggest going to YouTube and looking up a quick tutorial on how to do it.

P.S. You should put your eyeshadow on first, and then apply eyeliner. It makes it look crisper, and usually cleaner. ;)

You can actually wear it any way:

Putting the eyeliner over the eyeshadow looks great, but will eventually smudge off.

Putting eyeshadow over eyeliner diminishes the eyeliner color - unless you line your liner with a similar color eyeshadow.

Over! never do under or else it looks like there isn't any on. And how can you put it next to eyeshadow?

Here are some tips for super simple eye make up

1 wash your face before your do this. With actual face wash and actual water.

2 Apply darker shade of shadow to lid on eyeball only

4 Eyeliner right up against top lashes

4 Liner at base of bottom lashes. Light to med. on outside, get liter as you go in

5 Mascara to top lashes. Go down from lashes a few times, then up

if you want it to look darker and thicker then put it over the eyeshadow but if youre just starting , you dont wanna overdo it so put your eyeliner on and then put on your eyeshadow so you dont do too much and your eyeshadow can help to cover if you mess up at all

I only use eyeliner on my bottom waterliner(above your bottom lashes) and I put that on right after I apply my eyeshadow. If you want to put it on your top lid, put it on AFTER you apply shadow. That takes practice though.

eyeliner above bottom eyelashes first on the 1 millimeter bit if skin next to the eye

eyeliner above the top eyelashes next 1 mill thick

eye shadow next

mascara top lashes next

lastly bottom lashes

You can put it over your eyeshadow and along your bottom lashes.

u put it directly above your lash line. hold the skin tight with your undominant hand and draw a line all the way across.

It goes on easier under the shadow, but that diffuses it a little, Try some under and then over for a better stay.
