If Locker and Mallett are both still available at 25 in the NFL Draft ...?
should the Seahawks take one of the quarterbacks and, if so, which one would you take?

I would take Mallet. After Locker's performance at the senior bowl I think he goes 2nd round to the Vikings. But he did do great in his bowl game against Nebraska.

The Seahawks should take Locker if their plan is to contend for Super Bowls. No one has more overall athletic ability or has shown more heart and leadership at QB than Locker. You must also consider that Locker succeeded on a team with absolutely no talent, and was able to upset Nebraska. However, the likelihood of either of these players being around by the 25th pick is basically zero. So Seattle, will get neither.

I would take Mallett for sure, Locker's inaccuracy really scares me. One year he's the best quarterback prospect, but now he looks so bad; especially in the senior bowl. I do not know if its something mental or mechanical, but his issues scare me more than Mallett's off field issues. Mallett has a cannon for an arm and is really tall which I believe is a good thing

I'd take Mallet but I think the Seahawks should focus on their awful pass defence with the 25th pick

Mallet looks better now but u never know the draft is a complete gamble look at Brady how good he is, look at Ryan Leaf BUST

well, i'd go with locker. not only because he shows great promise (he was on a crappy udub team in college) and has already got a big fan base in washington. i think they'll both beck heckuva players in the nfl.. much better (qb wise) than newton will ever be.

I dont get how Mallet is projected behing Newton and Locker. But i do because Newton runs, like McNabb. and Locker is a tough QB (replacing favre)
