Depends on the desired heat level.

Mild: 3/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup hot sauce.

Medium: 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup hot sauce.

Hot: 1/4 cup butter and 3/4 cup hot sauce.

I would like some grits with butter, Louisiana hot sauce, a sausage patty, French toast and strong coffee WITH chicory. I just returned from two weeks in New Orleans and had my fill of fresh seafood, roast beef poboys and gumbo. never get sick of that delicious food

The typical ratio is 1:1 but, if you like hotter wings add more hotsauce.

Half as much butter as Frank's (e.g. 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 cup Frank's)

It totally depends on how spicy you like your wings.

I think the norm is 1:1.
