Question about our W2 getting lost in the mail.?

Our W2 form got lost in the mail, and my husbands company is refusing to send out the information needed to get our taxes done. What can be done?

    hey girl it's me, each company has an id number which appears on your w-2's. so since they wont send out a duolicate,call them for there id number. if it is lost in the mail they should be allowed to deny you. if not contact IRS, but if they give you the number that should help i would that.

    As of 2/15 you can call the IRS and report it, that's just next week. The IRS will convince the company they can't "refuse".

    Go to the IRS website and read Tax Topic 154.

    send them a SASE and request a duplicate by return mail
