2003 saab 9-3 speedometer pixel problem?

i 100% doubt anybody will know this.. but i'll give it a shot:

yesterday i noticed that in the yellow illumination square under the speedometer - next to where it tells you the miles there was a small cluster of pixels that were staying lit. it is in the shape of a random blob and covers up a small part of any image that shows up there (such as the i for "information" or the "traction controll off" symbol. i turned the car off and then on again - it did not fix the problem - the pixels stay lit no matter what. does anybody know of this problem? its a very very small blotch that stays lit - but i am meticulous about my car and it will bug the crap out of me if it has to be stuck there.

You cant fix this without having the speedometer either rebuilt or buy a new one. Look on eBay they have some good ones on there. If its not effecting the performance of the car then i would just leave it like that and save the money. Since it will bug you then i recommend that you replace it or get it rebuilt.
