President Ronald Regan also. Luck didn't run well with him first term but he came back strong in second term. He didn't mind taking on communism nor he didn't mind letting others know the US was in need of a smaller government.

They just had a celebration nearby for Reagan's 100th birthday on Feb. 6th. He was born about 15 miles down the road from me.

It's hard to decide between FDR and Lincoln. Both were equally brilliant leaders, although one thing that struck me with Lincoln was after the civil war was over there wasn't much of a desire to punish the south for trying to succeed. He really wanted to welcome them back and help them rebuild their states.
